Hi, I recently got an Oculus Rift S, and have been using it with Assetto Corsa. Unfortunately, I notice my in-game FPS counter will stay at 40FPS constantly, and have found out it’s because of ASW. I’ve tried using OTT, and cannot find a setting to disable ASW in the Oculus App, so I’m wondering if ASW is just no longer a thing you can
Each of the following headsets is compatible with SteamVR which will allow you to play Assetto Corsa and most other sim racing games in VR. Those include: Valve Index; HTC Vive; Oculus Rift S; Samsung HMD Odyssey+; So let’s now have a look into each of these VR headsets in detail, starting with the Oculus Rift S. 1. Valve Index Additionally, the Quest 2 runs at a minimum of 90Hz refresh rate, with a stunning 3664×1920 display, and a 100 degrees field of view. It is also wireless, which is a cool bonus! click to enlarge. + 3. OCULUS QUEST 2: A great budget option that you can get for Assetto Corsa VR, without sacrificing quality! Get To Grips With A Wheel.
I accidentally figured out a better method of getting Assetto Corsa working in VR the other day. People may have figured this out already, but I was doing a half arsed way and the new method works much better. == How to Play Assetto Corsa in VR on Windows 8.1. == Old method: Rift as primary. Start game. Turn off rift. Menu goes back to main
The original Oculus Rift (CV1) is still a great choice for anyone looking for a VR headset for sim racing only. The new and improved Rift S has put the original on the shelf, with a raft of new upgrades. However, most of the upgraded elements are focused on the movement and sensor side of the technology.
First you will need to enable VR in the settings menu. AC will only activate the HMD once you are sitting in the car in the simulation. All menus before that are on your monitor, unfortunately. same issue here. in the settings the vr choice in display is only between oculus rift and vive there is no hp reverb g2 choice. 1: Assume you have added non if you don't know them. 2: Okay, ignore that. 3: Its in the Home settings, probably under experimental. 4: Don't bring up the virtual desktop in Oculus Home in VR, close the dash system, do not preview the desktop and load AC from your desktop, config a race, then as you hit start to load into the track, as it loads
First thing I did was downgrade to Windows 10. You can't keep any of your data, but my computer now runs Assetto in max settings at 160 FPS on screen and 40 FPS in VR. Still messing with settings so the Oculus Quest 2 looks good. That's the part I'm struggling with since all the advice I'm finding for it is for Assetto Corsa Competizione .
I'm buidling a VR experience in Unreal 4- and that's the same as AC, the camera starts low, because I have the pos camera above me, but in front of me. All VR experiences you should start facing the pos camera unless you have the camera off centre, in which case it's not down to AC, but the camera position.

When i start the race it goes into the loading screen and just before I spawn my pc screens go black and it looks like my graphics card restarts used mods are: content manager , sol , csp and the car pack from shutoko revival project I just discovered this very cool "app" for VR users in Assetto Corsa this morning. It was actually created back in 2017 so if it has been posted here somewhere before please forgive me. It was created by a programmer in Finland named Keijo "Kegetys" Ruotsalainen . This little program was originally made for Vive and Rift users but I tried it .
