Return it and get the D850 or A9. It sounds like one of those is what you'd prefer, and you won't really be happy with a Canon now. Just make the switch. Do, of course, note that those two cameras cost a great deal more than the 6D2, so it's not at all surprising their specs are "incredible" and "amazing" by comparison. Enjoy Hawaii!

I have a Canon 6D (mark 1) and I was looking to use my existing Speedlite 270EX II as an off-camera flash. The flash works great on the camera but it's not recognised off it. I bought a Yongnuo RF603C II wireless flash trigger in the hope that would allow my 270EX II to work off the camera but I just can't get the flash to work.
The card is not properly inserted. If the card is full, replace the card or delete unnecessary images to make room. If you try to focus in One-Shot AF mode while the focus confirmation light < > in the viewfinder blinks, a picture cannot be taken. Press the shutter button halfway again to focus, or focus manually.
Using the Self-timer. With this function, images are shot 10 or 2 seconds after the shutter button is pressed. This is useful when you want to take a memorable photo with everyone including yourself in the picture.
Simple 5 methods to fix your Canon DSLR.1. Battery switch slot2. Open all slots and keep it overnight3. Try another battery or lens4. P Mode shutter for 15 s Two things. 1. Sit it on a warm heating pad, not hot, just warm for several days. Open all doors and leave the lens off. 2. Call Canon 1 (800) 652-2666. In the future never turn on an electrical device if it gets wet until it drys thoroughly. You can short our the MB. Big problem.

Turn power switch to ON position, press shutter button and hold for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Turn power switch OFF. This should clear internal memory and reset to factory conditions. Refit battery, close door, turn power switch ON.

Best, Andrew. Press the info button until you see the Q screen and it will stay on. It'll save battery if you press the info button to make it stay off unless you hit Q like the other camera is set. When you press the shutter button it'll turn off. But it won't turn off if you press the info button until that screen is up.

Canon obviously was in a hurry putting the 6d together because of the d600 pressure, and even though they choose good ol' 60d and 5d2 components doesn't mean the 6d got thorough testing. Just return the thing until you get a good one, I'm sure the retailers won't make a fuzz because they are very well aware recently introduced products often
