The car had 22 miles on it. I thought I'd try charging the battery by driving it, as planned. Ended up adding 29 more miles, but the "Replace Battery" warning persisted. I texted my salesman. He replied, "Yeah. Once the car gets to a certain battery level that message won't go away even though the battery is perfectly fine. Really frustrating.
Eventually I swapped batteries between the remotes and it seems the same battery that does not trigger the warning in the 2nd remote does trigger the warning in the first. I did oil change yesterday and after that I test the car and check the oil level, cleared codes, locked the door with key remote. This morning, wife took the car out and called me telling me that she cannot lock the driver side of door with the remote, even insert the key in the key hole won't lock/unlock the door, she was able to lock/unlock the rest 3 doors fine with the remote.
